How I Wasted All Win-Money On Building A New House |
|
I am so excited now and I cannot but share with you my joy! I have won the lottery! At last this has happened and I finally got enough money to build a house of my dream! My own home with everything I desire. Thus, after officially being rewarded with a substantial sum of money, I decided to start considering housing plans and building parts.
I have a friend who is a professional architect and it would be a great mistake if I didn’t consult him on this matter. Ideally, I wanted to live in a very large 3-storeyed building that has all modern conveniences and can boast of unusual combination of Asiatic and European architecture. But all these my dreams vanished with the preliminary calculations. Besides, Anthony has told me that this is a silly idea and there is nothing more firm than metal buildings that can stand a test of time. Being completely shocked by his suggestions I was really confused – why do I need to build a metal house? Am I a pilot that can not imagine his life without a hangar and can not live in a proper wooden house? Or am I an avant-garde Yuppie who gets enormous satisfaction spending all his life in a glamorously decorated workshop? Jokes aside, there was nothing that could assure me spending my entire lottery on a “metal box”.
In view of my building incompetence I couldn’t even imagine what kind of buildings can be erected with the use of prefabricated metal structures! You can make a steel framework and then do whatever you want! Even purlins should be made of steel as they carry most of the complete house weight. Only your fantasy limits the further construction. Prefab steel buildings can be erected considerably faster than wooden houses and are one hundred times more reliable.
Today I'm once and for all convinced that there is nothing more important than a good friend's advice, especially when it comes to spending a prize! |
