How Many Ways Are There To Protect Your Home?
What Is The Best Way To Protect Your Home and Family?
With the numerous products being advertised and talked about today around the area of Home Protection, it makes my head spin! There are simply too many products to talk about in this article. I want to review hidden cameras and security / surveillance cameras and equipment.
One comment here â€" The couple of products we will discuss can be used for the home, businesses, churches, or just about anywhere in areas you would want to protect.
There are hidden cameras to keep an eye on the inside of your home or business (or anywhere for that matter). These are sometimes called Hidden Cameras or Nanny Cams. There are more sophisticated Surveillance and Home Security Cameras. These might consist of 4 cameras (channels) up to 16 cameras (channel) wired or wireless complete camera systems.
You may ask yourself, is it easy to find Surveillance and Home Security Cameras? Are there people I can talk to about the differences in these products? Is this really that important after all?
The answer to these questions is an absolute YES!!
A lot of people are not even aware of the various products available to them for protection. There has been an increase in burglaries / break-ins nationwide. You should decide - would the cost of a surveillance system for your home, your business, church or school outweigh your loss if you were to become the victim?
Products today give you the flexibility to monitor your property from a distance. An example of this would be the VISEC Surveillance Software. This feature lets you review your home or business or surveillance area remotely from any location via the Internet. Use your computer's IP address to logon and immediately view live or past video. It can be motion activated and you can be alerted by email, cell-phone or PDA, or it can be set up for scheduled recording. This can be operated secretly on your computer, record up to four cameras at once using your existing computer and any webcam or wireless/wired camera. You can now turn your computer into a powerful surveillance system at a fraction of a regular security system cost. This is a very nice option when trying to keep your costs down.
If you choose to use a wireless or hidden camera you will need the GrabBee II to connect your camera(s) to your computer. The GrabBee II is the bridge between the wireless and or hidden camera and your computer.
I just recently had the pleasure to assist a church in our local community with the installation of a 16 Channel Digital Video Recorder (DVR) System. They were concerned about the recent rash of nationwide articles and news reports involving the abuse of the church. I call this being very proactive. It also gives the members of the church some comfort knowing the children are being monitored.
Basically, these decisions are truly a matter of choice. The key is to determine what you are trying to accomplish and then contacting a reputable retailer to purchase your products.
